HALUK EVİTAN

He was born in 1952 in Izmit. He completed his masters in the Department of Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University.

He has been professionally creating artwork since 1983, and he has held over 40 solo exhibitions.

He creates his compositions using his own unique abstract forms – geometrical shapes being the most prominent throughout his pieces. He usually paints spontaneously, finding inspiration from the inner worlds of man and using that to move forward.

Currently, he continues his work from his studio in Ankara while also teaching watercolor painting techniques at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Atilim University.
