EUGENY CHEKRIGIN

 Chekrigin was born in 1960 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He completed his primary and secondary education at Kharkiv School of Arts, and he received his high school education from the school named after the famous artist Ilya Repin. In 1985, he graduated from the Art & Design Department at Kharkiv National Academy.

Chekrigin actively worked on architectural and design projects at the Kharkiv National Academy and had his work displayed in exhibitions all over the countries that were part of the Soviet Union before it was dissolved. He held his first solo exhibition in his own home city (Kiev) in 1998 and in Europe (Vienna) in 1999, and his work can be found in private collections in countries such as Germany, China, Japan, Israel and USA.
